Medical students in the UK already know about this really handy free resource: the Patient website. It has recently changed web address from patient.co.uk to patient.info so we thought we would point that out.
It’s still got all of the same great resources, written mainly by practising GP’s. Infact many medical students say it has single-handedly helped them through uni!
Here are some of the most useful sections:
- Education articles written specifically for medical students
- Professional reference articles, including Epidemiology, Aetiology, Presentation, Differential diagnosis, Management, Prognosis etc.
- Health information, aimed at patients, but useful for a quick scan in layman’s terms.
